Distractions Keep Us From Our Testimonies? A Sadie Robertson Huff Message Review
At the 2020 IF:Gathering Conference Sadie Robertson Huff was assigned to give a message on Romans 8:39. In the message she urges women to keep themselves from getting distracted by “turning” to observe what God is doing in other people’s lives. That, instead, they should be focusing on what God is doing in their lives. Why? Because God is building their testimony, and their testimony has the power to change hearts. Is this true? Do our testimonies have power? Is John 21 informing us that “turning” to ask Jesus what He is doing in other people’s lives will cause us to “miss out” on “the reckless love God is chasing us” with? Does Scripture warn us against this?
