Welcome!

The purpose of this site is to equip women with the Sufficiency of Scripture so they may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2Tim.3:16-17

I pray that this website be used as a tool to guide women into “love [that] may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that [they] may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,  filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.”- Phil.1:9-11

What does a thoroughly equipped woman look like?

Is she a perfectly healthy, beautiful, strong, full of pride, do-gooder type of woman?

No, she is not.

While she is a good steward over her body, she knows that her flesh will wither like the flowers of the field, “but the Word of the Lord stands forever.” 1Pet.1:24

Her beauty is not one of “outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it [is] that of [her] inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” 1Pet.3:3-4

She, herself, is not strong, and so she trusts Christ who says that “[His] grace is sufficient for [her], for [His] power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore [she boasts] all the more gladly of [her] weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon [her]. For the sake of Christ, then, [she is] content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when [she is] weak, then [she is] strong.” 2Corin.12:9-10

She is not prideful but “look[s] carefully then how [she] walk[s], not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time…[She is not] foolish, but understand[s] what the will of the Lord is….[She is] filled with the Spirit, singing and making melody to the Lord with [her] heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to [others] out of reverence for Christ.” Eph.5:15-21

This is the Gospel.

She knows she is a sinner who has sinned against God and deserves His wrath. So she trusts in Christ, His sacrifice on the Cross for her sins and counts her good deeds “as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus [her] Lord. For his sake [she] suffer[s] the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that [she] may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of [her] own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith— that [she] may know him.” Phil.3:8-10. This is the Gospel.

This Gospel is her hope, God is her joy, and Christ is her strength. And by His Word, she is thoroughly equipped by God and depends entirely upon Christ trusting in the Gospel.

What about you?

Did you know that there is “… none righteous, no, not one;no one understands, no one seeks for God…” Rom.3:10-12. That includes you and I.

Yet, “Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, … he was buried, [and] he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures…” 1Corin. 15:3-4

He died for our sins and when we trust in Christ’s work we receive a “righteousness that comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God…”Phil.3:10

I pray that you “repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38) who will “be with you forever, …the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for [will] he [dwell] with you and will be in you” (John 14:17).

“So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him”(Heb. 9:28).

And after this, hope in God as “…our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.” (Phil.3:20-21)

And so I pray “…the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Phil.4:7). That “…you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light”(Col. 1:9-12).
